Mandeep Kaur Sandhu is a rising star in the world of boxing, hailing from Chakar, Ludhiana in Punjab, India. Mandeep was passionate about sports from a young age, and found her calling in boxing, she quickly rose through the ranks to become the first junior world boxing champion from her hometown.
In 2017, Mandeep made her mark on the international boxing scene when she competed in the AIBA World Junior Boxing Championship in Taipei, Taiwan. She fought her way through tough competition to emerge victorious, becoming the first female boxer from India to win a gold medal at and also quoted as Best Boxer of the tournament.
